What are RV bearings and why do they matter?

Think of your RV's wheels as spinning tops. Bearings are the tiny but mighty components that allow those wheels to spin freely. They're essentially small metal balls that allow the wheel to rotate smoothly on the axle. Over time, the grease inside these bearings degrades due to heat, friction and exposure to the elements.​

The Dangers of Neglecting Bearing Repacking​

• ​Overheating and Failure: As the grease deteriorates, it loses its ability to lubricate and cool the bearings. This leads to excessive heat buildup, which can cause the bearings to seize, melt, or even catch fire.
